Michelle Ostermyer

Michelle Ostermyer, E-RYT 500, YACEP, certified Vishoka Meditation teacher, grew up as a dancer and has been practicing yoga for more than a decade. She studied yoga and dance in NYC with master teachers. She was amazed at how the practice of yoga helped to alleviate the stress of city living and brought a sense of balance to her life.

Michelle earned her 200-hour teaching certification in early 2015 at Yogaja Yoga. Shortly after, she certified in Aerial Yoga and then became the only certified bodyART teacher in the area. Michelle is proud to have completed her 500-hour training at the Himalayan Institute. She received specialized training in myofascial release for asana classes and most recently became a Vishoka Meditation teacher.

Outside of the yoga studio, Michelle loves to connect with nature. She is extremely passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and wants everyone to feel good in their body.

Michelle’s yoga classes focus on inner awareness. She hopes that you leave her classes feeling empowered and nourished with a deeper connection to yourself.
